About Our School

Our School
École Edward Schreyer School (ÉESS) has a student population of approximately 700 students divided into Middle Years (grade 6 to 8) and Senior Years (grade 9 to 12). We are a dual track school (English & French Immersion), which offers many opportunities to our students beyond the basic core subjects.

History
September 22, 1961 was the official opening of the Beausejour Secondary School, later called the Beausejour Collegiate Institute and then the Beausejour Senior School. In 1979, it was renamed Edward Schreyer School in honour of a former student and teacher, the honorable Edward Schreyer.

In 2009, our school name was changed to its current name École Edward Schreyer School.
