Post-Secondary education is not free, and for many, the cost can be prohibitive; however, the investment is invaluable. There are many ways to help ease the financial burden of post-secondary tuition, and contrary to popular belief, many scholarships and awards are not based on academic performance. Many awards and bursaries are given to students who demonstrate financial need (defined as $1 or more of need).

Within this application grade 12 graduating students can apply and be considered for various community based scholarships/awards/bursaries opportunities. The information provided on the online form will be used to determine the recipients of these scholarships/awards/bursaries. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that they meet the graduation requirements, all criteria, as well as the necessary post-secondary requirements for each award before choosing to apply.

EMCA Scholarship	May 15,2026	Music Scholarship: EMCA is pleased to offer two music education awards in 2026: - One is a bursary of $750.00 for a grade 7-12 student in the School Division of Whiteshell, Sunrise School Division or the Sagkeeng Education Authority to attend the summer Music Camp at the International Peace Gardens. - The other is a $750.00 scholarship to a qualified, graduating student from the School Division of Whiteshell, Sunrise School Division or the Sagkeeng Education Authority to assist in the pursuit of a post-secondary education in a musical field.
